6 days 5 nights wandering about in Hong Kong and Macau, spending most of the time and money on shopping, truly glad to be back home in my own "dog kennel" -- my bedroom!! ^___^ My dream of becoming the Queen of Boots is realising as I got sooo many pairs of boots from Luo Hu Plaza. Everytime I gained a beautiful piece of victory item, the song "These Boots Are Made For Walking" originally sang by Nancy Sinatra will be played on my mind. =P How I wish I have a LARGE closet to nicely place all of them so that I can admire them whenever I enter my room. Well, this will only become a reality if my room were to get any bigger...definitely for the time being, there is no space left for such big furniture!
Certainly I will not like the idea of staying in Hong Kong for good, working and living there will mean HELL to me...everything over there is in "fast-forwarded" pace! A particular scene took place in the subway station, people (mainly from the working class) marching their ways to their respected places like terra-cotta, the flow of people passing by was endless! A slow coach like me will definitely find it difficult to stay on track, but if I really root myself in HK, it will be a great opportunity for me to learn to do things faster and more alert. Better ado, no thanks XP...I'm happy to be back in Malaysia!
An experience of flying with MAS Airlines slightly changed my mindset towards my country. They have good meals, serving a pack of 3 Ferrero Rocher to every guests... Individual screens made me enjoyed my flight by filling up my time with movies. =D Advertisements to lure more foreigners to travel in Malaysia, I will say it is of good quality advertisement, it will somehow give people a pleasant 1st impression. =) However, I heard from my family members, MAS is actually making a loss for providing too good services. Gosh.. Anyway, I like the idea of joint venture between MAS and Cathay Pasific, at least by doing this, at the same time reducing cost, they are also reducing the the waste of resources (e.g. fuel). Bet other avian companies are also doing the same thing. =)
While doing some light marketing at the Wellcome Supermarket (branches all around HK), Che Che and Mom went across the use of plastic bags, how they charged consumers for an extra plastic bag. Finally people are aware of this issue! I personally salute Ikea for practising this good ethic, plus their plastic bags are bio-degradable! Haha, bonus for Ikea, they has set up a good image ---- being environmental friendly. Kudos! ^__^
Last night, went to Tai Hu Restaurant (located at Hollywood Plaza, Nathan Road) for dinner, took away the fried rice which we couldn't finished up, as I walked along somewhere near Lady Street, I prayed to Father in Heaven, "Show me O Lord, whoever's stomach will be filled by this pack of rice." Found an old man, picking up on rubbish to eat. That scene troubles me alot.... As he grabbed the rice from my hand, his another hand busily pouring some soup-based leftovers from the rubbish bin into his mouth.... People from the pathways were looking at us strangely... I wish I could do more for him, I wish to provide shelter... I wish to be armored with more ability and capability..... Open my eyes wide enough, to see those around me who needs help, physically and emotionally... Father, let me be more daring enough to reachout, Amen. -_-
