A W0nDeRFuL TriP BacK T0 HoMetowN

One week of term break, I went back to my dad's hometown, Ipoh for 3 days & 2 nights with my dear classmate, P. Yi and her mom, Aunty L, accompanied by her godfather, Uncle D. Wow, they are so warm hearted & treated me like part of the family. =) On the way to Ipoh, I was looking out from the car window, sightseeing. Wasn't really paying much attention to the scenery though, 'cos I was busy thinking back most of the trips travelling back to Ipoh with my beloved family, ( Dad will be driving, Mom will be sitting beside Dad, reading, perhaps... Schumann will be behind Mom while I'll be sitting behind Dad.) Till I saw something which caughthold of my sight..... Yes...It is "it".

That particular mountain I used to make fun of...but somehow it doesn't sound the same anymore b'cos part of it is gone, forever. However, now & then, whenever I come back to Ipoh, travelling along the highway, passing by that mountain, I'll always remember her...my beloved Ma Ma (grandma). Although I'm uncertain if that mountain DOES have its own name, or whoever cares if the mountain even have a name or not, to me, it will always be my "Ma Ma Shan" (Grandma Mountain). This is how it remembers me of her. =) I can visualise her sitting on her wheelchair, talking non-stop like a chatterbox whenever we visit her at the care home....

We met up with Mr. WH once we left our luggage in our hotel room. 3 of us went to "Nam Tin Dong"& had tea time in a restaurant called "Scotch" I think... Couldn't really recall the name..hehe.. While enjoying our western meals, we chit-chatted & joked. Most of the time, I was being the target of the "joke". We had fun & laughters on our table anyway, truly loved the presence of friends. Amen. ^____^ At night after dinner at Yum Yum Restaurant, I had yumcha session with my cousin brother Dom and one of my childhood friend. Didn't really talked much, but I treasured the moment we shared...It was short, yet worthy.

2nd day, P. Yi & I went to the hotel's swimming pool twice ( once in the morning & once in the evening). Ehehe.. All the silly movements we can think of, we did it in the pool... dancing, jumping, hopping, running...u name it! =.=" Lucky enough that no one witnessed all these absurd actions!!! Special thanks to Aunty L for caring so much for my safety & ensuring all my needs are met. Thank you so much!!

We also went to Kellie's Castle, located in at Batu Gajah, considered near to Ipoh. If I were to given a chance to pay the "artpiece" another visit, I will do so though it's not that much to see, I just happen to like that place. Sometimes I wonder I will be totally amazed if I get to see it well furnished with all the fabulous furnitures and glamouring chandeliers. Surely it will be awesome!! They even have their own private bar!!! However, I kind of got some goosebumps when I walked into that bar-to-be room, it's quite scary actually, to have it dark, empty and at a little corner...zzzzz.... Oh my gosh, they have their own wine cellar!!! I don't dare to go all the way down as it was super dark but I wish I was given the 2nd chance to walk down the steps with a companion...I heard there's a secret tunnel (which is now NO LONGER SECRET =.=") which leads to the indian temple somewhere near to the castle. Bedrooms are huge...yes HUGE!! Larger than my living room! =P Especially the master bedroom with few doors, 4...or izzit 5? Or even more??? Can't remember... =.= It is certainly amazing! Kellie Castle, till we meet again!!

D Day before travelling back to KL, P. Yi & I went to Jusco mall, took 2 hours (or less) to finish browsing through the whole shopping centre. Luckily it can still be considered "fruitful"...at LEAST I bought myself a gingerbread man soft toy! Haha~~~ Thinking that I was in cloud nine till I reached home, showed Mom my new "friend", got scolded... =( "Why did U waste such money on these things???" Yup, I understand, my bad.... I shouldn't...Sorry Mom! Will never ever dare to bring in "newcomers" into my bedroom anymore... *sob sob* Still, as a conclusion (or more like a confession), from the core of my heart, I'm still glad to spend every night with Ginger and have sweet dreams till the Sun greets me morning! =P Lol....
