His blood cleanses our sins...

Back in 3 months ago (21st of Feb), I remembered the 1st time in my life donating blood  in National Service. Back then, I was so afraid yet I really wanted to donate my  blood because I know I can save lifes. =) Also with one more motive, which is to find out what blood group am I from. Haha, found it! It's O (Hooray! I'm a universal donor) >.^
The scene flashbacked to that moment before the needle pricked into my fourth finger on the right hand, my dear friend/sister, Momo prayed for me...for courage and faith =) And so, I was preparing to scream (perhaps) when the blood starts oozing out from my finger.....few seconds passed...NAH, a single "ouch??" is the only word came out from my mouth. Yup, "ouch with question marks"...Haha...even the nurse was amused by my awkard reaction! =P
Lying on the bed with a stream of blood flowing out from my body, I began to think about our Lord, Jesus Christ...compared to Him, mine was just mere kacang putih! He died on the cross with blood covering His whole body, His blood is significant as it washes away our sins. His blood truly saves lifes! I am a child of God, I hope from deep inside my heart, that I too, can help to save lifes! Yes, I am afraid to see blood, or even encountering with blood,  but I know I must not be selfish....So, in the future, I will still continue to donate blood.
Haiz, I didn't get to donate my blood yesterday during blood donation drive at church because I've donated not long ago...So, whenever I am qualified, I will not hesitate! =D Hopefully this particular post will also encourage people who are qualified to donate blood to be generous. Hehe...
